Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Smart choices was the most responsive of the three remodeling contractors we contacted. Rob met with us and listened to our ideas and needs, made additional suggestions to facilitate a better end product and gave us many choices. Moving through the process has included contact with the owner and the project manager to make sure we are all on the same page. Looking forward to an updated bathroom soon. Will up date this review on completion of the project.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We can't begin to express enough how professional, caring, efficient and very detailed they are in what they do! They did such a beautiful and outstanding job turning our tub into a walk in shower. It couldn't be more perfect!! Their performance and hard work goes beyond the call of duty. They give extra thought and detail in what they are doing to make it extra nice for the customer.
The office people are just as professional, caring, efficient and outstanding. They are there for you in everyway with full communication. Easy to get a hold of. They keep you fully informed on everything every step of they way with your installation.
Everyone is so sincere making you feel you and your installation is very important to them as it is to you!! Thanks so much to Tammy, Carlos and Jesus and all the "Smart Choice Remodeling" team. You've been amazing!! We couldn't be anymore happy with our beautiful new walk in shower and we couldn't have been anymore lucky to have had you guys🤗🤗

What We Deliver

Our Kitchen Remodeling Services in the Phoenix Valley

Outdated cabinets can make even a clean kitchen feel tired. We install semi-custom and custom cabinetry, replace cabinet doors and hardware, and can reconfigure your layout for better storage and flow. All work is installed by experienced craftsmen with clean, finished results.

Upgrade from laminate to granite, quartz, or butcher block — or replace damaged countertops before selling. We handle templating, cutting, and installation for a seamless fit. We work with a range of materials at different price points to match your budget and design goals.

Ready to start from scratch? We demo and completely rebuild kitchen spaces, including new layout configuration, updated plumbing and electrical rough-in, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, and finishes. A full gut remodel is the most effective way to maximize your home's value and functionality.

The finishing details make or break a kitchen remodel. We install tile backsplash, new flooring (tile, LVP, hardwood), under-cabinet lighting, and all trim and transition work. These finishing touches pull the whole space together and significantly impact how the room looks, feels, and functions.

KITCHEN REMODELING FAQS

What to Expect During Your Kitchen Renovation

Wondering how long a full gut renovation takes or what type of cabinets fit your budget? Check out our frequently asked questions below. If you don’t see your question answered, give us a call—we are always happy to talk through the details.

Customer Support

How long does a typical kitchen remodel take?

The timeline depends entirely on the scope of your project. A straightforward cabinet and countertop replacement might take 3 to 5 weeks, while a full gut renovation that involves moving plumbing, electrical, or walls can take 8 to 12 weeks. During your free consultation, we map out a realistic timeline so you know exactly what to expect from demolition to the final walkthrough.

How much does a kitchen remodel cost in the Phoenix Valley?

Kitchen remodeling costs vary widely based on the materials you choose (like semi-custom vs. custom cabinets or quartz vs. laminate countertops) and whether you are changing the room’s footprint. We believe in total transparency, which is why we provide a detailed, itemized proposal before any work begins. You will always know exactly what you are paying for, with zero hidden fees or surprise upsells.

Can I stay in my home during a full kitchen renovation?

Yes, most homeowners choose to live in their homes during the remodel! Keep in mind that you will be without a fully functioning kitchen for a period of time, so setting up a temporary kitchenette in another room is highly recommended. Our crews are trained to respect your space—we set up dust containment, protect your floors, and clean the job site at the end of every single workday to minimize disruption to your family.
